I find there are 2 questions worthy of asking yourself.
The difference between them is when you ask them.
Before executing
What is the thing that is going to fundamentally change in the world in the next 10 years?
After executing and during execution
What is the thing that is not going to change in the next 10 years and further?
First question gives you a competitive edge to make some noise. You can catch a wave early on and have an easier time selling the idea.
Second question gives you the guide to operational excellence.
Example:
Customers may want to teleport once it is possible.
Customers will want teleporting to be as smooth as possible. Someone will never come and say that I wish I can spend more time in teleporting state.
